This Trireme 43 is a beautiful offshore cruising unit, the hull was built in steel in 1983 by the shipyard "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" according to plans by the architect François CHARPENTIER, known for designing the series of TRIREME sailing yachts, models from 43 to 60 feet.
This is a boat designed for comfort at sea and livability at moorings. The triple chine hull is made from welded steel plates on T-shaped stringers. The thickness of the plates is 4mm for the upper chine, 5mm for the intermediate chine, and 6mm for the bottom chine. The reliability of the construction by the shipyard "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" and the protective treatment of the metal structure carried out by the owner originally is of a quality rarely found in units of the same type.
