Some work is underway: The vessel is currently stored ashore in a shipyard. The hull has been stripped of its antifouling, revealing small surface osmosis blisters that are currently being treated. The deck has been stripped of teak, sanded, applied with epoxy, and then the deck has been painted with a non-slip coating, and its watertightness has been checked. All through-hulls and valves have been replaced, and the hull has been sanded and repainted. All damaged linings have been redone, and interior varnishes are being refurbished.
The steering system has been made more reliable by implementing stops.
