Jeanneau Sun Fizz powered by a Perkins 4.108, hull paint in good condition.
The boat has been on land for several months and will therefore require a thorough cleaning.
The interior appears to need no work at first glance. The upholstery is in fairly good condition, with the cushions recently refurbished and in new condition.
The boat is ready to sail; however, part of the standing rigging and more substantial anchoring will need to be considered.
The history of the Jeanneau Sun Fizz
The Sun Fizz is a cruising monohull sailboat, built by the Jeanneau yard in France. This fixed keel sailboat, rigged as a head Sloop, was designed by naval architect Philippe Briand, measuring 11.75 m in length with a maximum draft of 1.95 m. Production started in 1980 and ended in 1986, with 651 units produced.
General condition:
This unit is in very good presentation condition; the owners have had it for over 20 years and have maintained it well.
Interior:
The woodwork and upholstery are in good condition. The floors show almost no defects. The bilge is clean.
Exterior:
Except for the hull, which requires polishing, we have only observed a few superficial gelcoat chips on both the hull and the deck, and no delamination on the deck.
Mechanical:
Maintenance has been performed; the Perkins 4.108 is still a very common engine, which allows us to easily find parts.
Documentation:
Registration document
