General condition:
This American-built cruiser is well-known for its reputation. Luhrs offers unique boats with an extremely safe marine behavior to face all conditions. This unit, measuring only 9m, is powered by 2x 260hp, enhancing its secure handling. Seventeen years after its commissioning, this unit is in very good presentation condition; indeed, the hull is very nice with no signs of aging, and the superstructures are also in very good condition. All electronic equipment is up to date and operational. The engines are serviced annually and run perfectly.
Exterior:
The hull shows no defects and is well-polished. No defects to report on the rubbing strake. The superstructures are in good shape too; the quality of the gelcoat is significantly better than what is often seen on units of this size. In the cockpit, all white parts are very shiny with no marks or signs of crazing. Only one modification was made to the port and starboard gunwales to accommodate new rod holders and adjust orientation. Otherwise, the boat is completely original. The structure of the flybridge is in good condition. The upholstery at the flybridge helm, aft cockpit, and forward sunbathing area is recent and in very good presentation condition. The upholstery at the helm and co-pilot positions is original and shows signs of use.
Interior:
The interior of this boat has seen very little use; the upholstery is in good presentation condition, as are the floors. The bathroom appears to have never been used. The only downside is that the refrigerator is currently out of service. All lining is of very good quality and in very good presentation condition.
Mechanical:
The two 6-cylinder inline Yanmar engines of 260hp appear visually appealing. No signs of apparent leaks, the bilge is clean and dry. Before the 2024 season, the exhaust elbows and turbos were replaced. The last service on the heat exchangers dates back to 2022. Starting occurs at the first attempt without any hesitations, smoke, or abnormal noise. Average consumption is 60L/h for both engines at a cruising speed of approximately 16 knots.
