Discover the Monte Carlo Offshorer 30, an iconic model rooted in the innovation of the 1970s. Designed by Carlo Riva, the legendary founder of the Riva shipyard, this boat is the result of a technical revolution from the United States: the stepped deep V hull. This unique design generates lift that improves speed and makes navigation smoother on the water surface.
The story of this model is closely linked to Bob Hobbs, a mathematician and visionary naval architect behind the first V hull. Despite production challenges in Florida, Carlo Riva, a close collaborator of Hobbs, worked with Cal Connell, founder of Mercruiser, to develop and manufacture this innovative concept in Italy. Thus, the Monte Carlo Offshorer was born, built at the small shipyard “Mare e Sole” near Ventimiglia, close to Monaco.
Quickly becoming a symbol of the Côte d’Azur, this boat stands out with its logo evoking speed and elegance, embodying the splendor of the “Dolce Vita.” With 343 units produced, the Monte Carlo Offshorer is one of the greatest successes in the boating industry.
Even today, this model is recognized as one of the most elegant ever made, with underwater hull lines that ensure exceptional handling and remarkable seaworthiness, even in challenging conditions. This Monte Carlo Offshorer 30 is powered by two 375-horsepower Crusader V8 engines, offering higher power and reduced weight compared to traditional Mercruiser engines, often mounted on the Riva Aquarama.
This boat is in excellent condition, with recent engines ensuring reliability and performance. On the equipment side, it features electric flaps for better stability, a retractable swim ladder for easier water access, as well as an additional sun deck for optimal comfort on board.
Treat yourself to the unique experience of a timeless classic, combining performance, elegance, and nautical history.
