A CATAMARAN HULL TYPE
The hull is the boat's DNA.
With two fine bows like knife blades, it presents reduced resistance to forward motion while displacement, ideal for electric propulsion.
At high speed, the sea passage is smooth, the boat slices through the wave rather than jumping it.
At anchor, the boat is stable, the two hulls spaced naturally reduce rolling.
The Pinball is primarily powered by the in-board MERCRUISER V8 350 hp engine.
The REGEN electric motor recharges the battery in 2 hours. Upon lift-off, it adds its instant power of 30 hp to that of the in-board engine.
As soon as the boat is up, the nozzles empty and the boat behaves as if they do not exist.
The boat moves and maneuvers without articulated parts or propeller outside the hull!
The electric motors are powered by a 20 kWh Lithium battery with 1h15 of autonomy at 5 knots.
The inboard engine is off and the Z-drive unit is lifted.
AUTONOMY IN ALL ELECTRIC:
THE NOZZLE PROPULSION AS WELL AS THE HULL HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO OFFER THE BEST EFFICIENCY.
The nozzles are 30 cm diameter tubes, at the propeller level, shaped to accelerate the water flow in forward motion.
The autonomy is 2 hours at 4 knots and 1h20 at 5 knots.
Empty batteries? Switch to hybrid mode and the batteries will be automatically recharged!
9 meters long, the Pinball is easy to pilot, even for the less experienced.
At the controls, no superfluous elements, the boat is piloted standard with a steering wheel and a single lever.
The hybrid mode / electric mode change is done via two LED switches, respectively yellow and blue.
A 10" screen enhances understanding of how the boat operates.
