The Gallant 53 was designed by the renowned naval architect E.G. Van de Stadt. It was the largest fiberglass yacht built in series. A total of 22 yachts were built as sloops or ketches by Southern Ocean Shipyard and by Tyler's in England. In 1967, the Gallant 53 received the Lloyd's Register of Shipping 1968 Yacht Trophy for its design, performance, and exceptional craftsmanship. The interior layouts as well as its deck plan are very spacious and clear, for optimal onboard living comfort. Engine changed in 2020, teak deck from 2015, charming sailing yacht, ready to go with its new owners.
