Claude Kermoal drew on 30 years of experience in the construction and operation of large catamarans to design a highly viable boat capable of circumnavigating the globe under remarkable safety and comfort conditions.
The use of Sealium (high-performance aluminum alloy) and honeycomb for permanent fixtures allows for a tight weight estimate, despite the very comprehensive equipment on this unit.
