Indication from the yard on this model: the silhouette of the Windy SR 44 BlackHawk is the result of a collaboration between Dubois and the yard. Meanwhile, the interior design has been entrusted to the good care of the English firm Design Unlimited. This dynamic team set out to challenge competing brands Fjord, Pardo, and others like Mazu Yachts on their turf, paying particular attention to the deck layout. Extended by a large hydraulic swim platform, the cockpit offers several possible configurations. A spacious cockpit with a central rear bench allows for free passage on both sides of the boat, featuring an immense U-shaped salon on deck. A sunbathing area is located at the rear, above the engine room. The marine behavior is commendable. Crossing waves with authority while demonstrating a certain agility at the helm, the boat navigates on a hull perfectly suited to Mediterranean conditions. Powered by the new D6 440 hp engines – each developing 440 hp – the boat exceeds 38 knots. It is worth noting that the yard states a top speed of 42 knots in flat water and optimal conditions. Comfortable, smooth, and functional. The simplicity of the layout is another strong point of the boat, with a very segmented aspect that promotes circulation. In the center, the streamlined T-top, which includes two translucent panels and can be extended by an electric bimini, houses a summer kitchen, protected under a flap, in addition to the helm station.
